Who bought the base model 11" as their primary computer?

With the 2GB RAM scaring me, I wanted to know who bought the base 11" for their primary computer? I'm still thinking about using this with an external monitor.

11" for me too, after sold my MBP last week.
Just 128gb, so not the ultimate.
For college and in combination with a external monitor at home.
Just waiting for some i5 vs i7 reviews/benchmarks/advice.

You might want to rethink using a 2GB RAM/64GB SSD configuration as your only computer. I mean, unless you are really only doing web surfing and editing documents.

Would you suggest going for a previous gen model? I see some people on craigslist selling the the 13" models for $1000 at the 2.13ghz/4gb/256ssd

11 ultimate for me. I own other Macs, but I think I'll get very used to the 11 and prefer it.

It really depends on what your needs are.
