Between Evad3rs and the Pangu team who gets the jailbreak first?

Personally I hope its Evad3rs, had them on my ipad mini with 6.1 and the jailbreak is very stable. Heard its hit and miss with Pangu plus having thoer app store on there could be a pain.

What say you?

Then when iOS 8.1 comes out, are you gonna hope they wait til 9.0?

My guess? Neither Pangu or Evaders, it's gonna be a new team. Maybe with members from one of the previous.

Just so the initial bugs from the 8.0 release are fixed

Actually, as far as I am aware, Apple never closed jailbreak holes in 0.1 upgrades.
7.0 to 7.0.4 were compatible with evaders jailbreak.
7.1.0 to 7.1.2 were compatible with pangu jailbreak.

I guess my biggest concern is if we will actually see a jailbreak for ios 8 and beyond.

Anyone else concerned that we may not have a jailbreak?

As long as there are enough people that want one there will be jailbreaks, no software is unhackable.

I am glad there is so much confidence!

I got an iPhone 6 plus to basically replace my iPad mini gen 1 that I jailbroke on ios 6 that has a ton of emulators and custom app icons on it and I want to do that with my new phone.

I also want to change the stock icons back to ios 6 look as I hate the flat, awkwardly colored icons.

If Pangu is released first, I was reading that it initially installed a pirated app store and an enterprise certificate onto the phone. It seems you can remove the other app store, my question is does this remove the enterprise certificate as well?

Thanks for the info!
