Hi

Who would be the closest to Steve's as a person and his ideas and visions?

In other words, who comes the closest to resemble Steve and would be best to be CEO.

You can mention anybody you want in any field, not just tech.

Examples:

James Cameron
Oprah
Bill Gates
Rene Angelil
Al Gore....

Now Tim Cook has cancer?!?!?!:eek:

;)

You can succeed Steve Jobs. You can't replace him. Steve groomed his successor. Let's let him run the shop for awhile.

I'm not saying Cook is not good. It's a fact that they had and probably still have a small list of contenders.

He would be the worst Apple CEO ever. Jobs makes things better and Lucas keeps ****ing with his work until even the most loyal fanboys hate it.

Tim Cook is Steve's hand-picked CEO.

I think Tim Cook is going to be there for a while. If Steve Jobs hand picked him and worked with him closely and trusted him to take the company over after he left, then we should be good. Steve wouldn't just give the company to anyone, it was his baby. Tim's going to be good for Apple and will be a great CEO IMO. He's not Steve Jobs, but thankfully Tim has already come out and said that he isn't, and he isn't going to try to act like him. He's going to be Tim Cook, no one else.
