So i just got my iPhone, i live outside the US and there is no way for me to make it work unless i get a simcard from the US which i wont do. I am happily using it as a pda, ipod and to view my pictures on it. I cant wait for the UK models so that i can at least use that.

Sad story i know.

Woah woah... wait a minute. How'd you get the iPod/PDA functions to be unlocked?

I activated it using my friends card (he used to study in the US), but for some reason its not working as a phone, it will not pick up the local telecom singlan.
