who else hates the new notification system design

i miss the old look of notifications in 10.11 especially in dark mode i wish if we put dark mode on notifications would nevert to the old look as it matched dark mode so much better

I always though that notification center is a little useless on a computer. I dont use it frequently so it dont bother me as much as the new iOS 10 design, but yes, the darker version of NC before Sierra was much better looking.

ya i actually use the notifications pretty often since i linked my Facebook to the mac and it gives me notifications from news sites that i use in safari like here at macrumors. it just bugs me how it doesn't blend in same on iOS though the notifications on lock screen used to blend in so nicely now they are on top like they used to be pre flat design i still miss os x leopard through mavericks design and iOS 1 to 6 design. this whole flat thing is pointless we got powerful enough pcs and macs for full 3d uses.

I don't access the notification area a lot, but yes, I agree with you, the new notifications look really horrible compared to El Capitan's. I am a fan of Dark Mode and I just can't get myself to accept the light notification on a supposedly dark theme.

ya. plus i still hope for a system wide dark mode eventually that does finder and all apps.

It makes me wonder if there are any 3rd party solutions for a dark mode out there? I don't think I've ever seen any applications that have to do with the appearance and colors of the Mac operating system.

yeah I'm with ya on my console / windows 10 i have windows10 dark edition theme installed to make windows 10 a dark mode all around but i have't found anything of the like on macOS
