Who else is pumped for Football Manager 2012

Got my copy pre-ordered, some nice disk space freshened up on my MBA, and hours upon hours of planned downtime for what should be an epic few months of eat in pizza dinners! :D *My Uni grades will hate me!*

What systems are you guys playing yours on, and how many hours are you planning to devote to it!

Cheers

I'm looking forward to it as I do every year, however I usually buy my copy around Christmas time — I can save a bit of cash that way and a patch or two has been released to iron out the bugs.

How much time will I devote to it? Too much, one would suspect.

"The blogs started on Monday so there are already new features to read about, and the first news we announced was that the release date for Football Manager 2012™ on PC & Mac will be Friday 21st October!"

My bad, Wikipedia says otherwise! "Microsoft Windows
NA 21 October 2011
[1], Mac OS X
NA 28 October 2011
[2"

Blashphemic Wikipedia!

You guys planning on steaming or disking it up? For me US steam had it at $89.99 for 11 and now only $39.99 for 12. All in USD. Normally Australian FM sells for about $80-90 ish. If the prices drop in Australia it'd be a toss up for me between the disk and DD versions. On one hand i don't want to kill my bandwidth cap with a hefty 2GB download but on the other i don't know how much the Retail AU version will sell for in AUD.

If prices on steam varies..

Go throw proxy, connect throw it to start download and purchase. After downloading starts quit steam and reconnect without proxy.

Worked for me when I couldn't get demo of FM12 as it wasn't available in Germany as well as few other games that are banned here.

I'm def getting it throw steam as it requires online activation anyway and i'm going to play on MBA this year mostly so it's win win for me.
