Am I the only one who thinks that Hidden photos in the Photos app need to be Touch ID-protected? I mean I don't see much point in calling it Hidden when it's in plain sight and easily accessible just like any other album and not have any sort of protection. I mean what is the point??

If it says HIDDEN or DO NOT OPEN, you will want to open.

According to Apple, since it explicitly says HIDDEN, then it's hidden.

Maybe it is just me. Never mind.

Absolutely, should be able to protect any folders or individual photos, then if you allow an app access to your photos, when it try’s to open a certain photo you have to allow it by using TouchID. I always hated the idea of allowing apps to access “all” my photos.

In fact with the files app why the heck can’t we lock files as well, I mean we can lock a note? but not my financial spreadsheets, or my pictures of rare turtles.

Guess we should all go to Apple support and request this.

A simple share sheet option for “Lock with Touch ID” would be wonderful imo.

Does someone give that suggestion through iOS 11 feedback? They don’t usually do nothing, but trying is free.

Well now that touch ID might be gone you'll have to use your face. Will need a double security function so it doesn't unlock unintentionally. But YES i think its totally needed

I'll see your Touch ID and raise you them being truly hidden. from iCloud photo library even. imagine all the hack stories that would be avoided if your naked crotch selfies didn't upload cause they were in your secret hidden folder that doesn't upload and requires a passcode/touch id to open it.
