From what I read here, the Nvidia 8800 is not effected by the Nvidia defective shipment, but if I google "Nvidia 8800 defect" I see things like 'Nvidia 8800's killer bug,' or '8800 shipped with defect.'

Does anyone have/know anyone that has had a defective 8800?

I know you have asked for people who have had a problem but I think it is probably more representative if you ask for people you have and haven't to respond.
I personally haven't, the problem at the moment doesn't seem to have affected iMacs.

It's my 2nd iMac 3.06Ghz w/nVidia GeForce 8800 GS graphics and I got it on the first week of May '08. So far, I don't have any issue involve with the video/graphics.

Well, I figured the people with no problems wouldn't be on a forum trying to get help. I was just confused when I saw the articles about the 8800 being part of the defective range because no one seems to have reported a problem.
