Who has received their rebate? Because I haven't

Quick question: How many of those who sent in their Major in Mac rebates have received it back? And if not, who do you deal with / contact to actually get your rebate?

I submitted mine about 2 weeks ago via USPS but when I check the status of my rebate online at www.apple.com/promo I get that my UPC or receipt have not been received fully (though I sent all in together along with all necessary information a few weeks ago). Bleh, so now I have to worry about actually getting my money that justified splurging with a new iPod!

Have some patience. Most rebate centers specify 6-8 weeks to get your rebate check (usually just long enough for you to forget that you have a rebate coming). It is entirely possible that they have received all of your information but due to the number of rebates it will take some time to update the status on the web. I'm guessing that if you call to talk to someone they will just tell you to wait until the 8 week time period is up before they can really start doing anything about it.

IIRC when I bought my PB and iPod with a $200 rebate. I didn't do any checking online but if their email system is anything like the web I got the email that my check was sent and received the check in that same day's mail. My guess is that the web won't update until they process the rebate which will be a couple days before the check gets to you. Given the 6-8 week timeframe I wouldn't start getting concerned until it gets closer to 6 weeks and probably wouldn't call until after 8 weeks.

I got my rebate in about two weeks. Then again the rebate center is in the same state as I am.

I got my printer rebate within a few weeks, but it's taken much longer in the past. And I never got my ipod battery settlement!

Sounds like you're all set. However, for all those others who are waiting and who might stumble upon this thread, I'll note that I've waited the full 8-weeks for rebates before. Sometimes they just take awhile...

If they've sent the rebate cheque out in less than a month, I'm impressed. I've never receive a rebate in less than two months, and I've submitted lots of rebates.
