After today’s Apple presentation of new technologies and developments I am reminded of Jobs elimination of “Computer” from the company name. The future was already unfolding and he saw it! But just wow today . . . . satellite connection, underwater diving, crash detection, health monitoring etc etc. Apple w/o Computer indeed!!

All of this either sounds not impressive or incredibly gimmicky. It feels like Apple is completely out of ideas on where to go with iphones and apple watches, and literally have samsung-level product upgrades like "dynamic island", like literally a standard software feature, wtf?

And the EU price increase is absolutely insane, so while I think it will sell in the US, I can't see many people really wanting to pay THAT MUCH money for this phone. Just in Germany/Austria it's 1449€ (1447$) for the 128gb iphone 14 pro max. That's just nuts.
