Since my Upgrade to my NcMP 7,1 I have been restricted to Catalina and no 32 bit apps. I only enjoy and play (played) one game - Quinn. Luved it, it was configurable with good graphics and was trouble free. With Catalina, Quinn is no longer an option. I tried uBlockMaster from the App Store and returned it immediately. Graphics were bad and no customization. I have been looking for months, but have not found anything to replace or even come close to Quinn.

I feel your pain flowrider. Was looking the other day as well and came away disappointed. Went back to my iPhone for my immediate Tetris needs - but its a strangely shallow field of choices for something basic like this on the Mac.

Have a broken PS4 I picked up at a garage sale last weekend showing signs of a hard drive failure, planning on fixing that - hopefully that's it - and then getting the Tetris effect in all its glory (cannot wait).

^^^^Have no idea. But, I've been playing Tetris on a Mac for better than twenty years, since before Quinn was released in 2002. I'm really not interested in playing against anybody but myself. And I don't want to play on my phone ? I'm probably addicted?

The last time I played Tetris was on my old first gen MacBook with an app called Tetris Max (old PPC app).

I loved the music!

Oh yes... sure sounds like you are hooked haha

I played Tetris in the early 90's on DOS-based PC's. Worked in a law firm at the time and there were people who would stay at work playing it until the wee hours of the morning quite often.

The only games I've played on Mac's were poker (for real money) and contract bridge card games that could be played against the computer or online with others. There was one bridge game from pre-Intel days (can't recall the name at the moment) that was awesome... quite a number of international players were online at all hours ready to play. I purchased Bridge Baron at one point and never really got to like the user interface nearly as much.

^^^^Yep, I played Tetris Max too ? You're bringing back old memories:

Thanks for the flashback vid! Tetris Max was my first shareware purchase.

Before Tetris Max, I learned to play on the actual red box retail version of Tetris on my high school teachers Mac IIci. Beautiful backgrounds in 8 bit color (256 colors) and on my first Mac, a Mac LC. Played it till the computer died of old age. I had it on the Game Boy back then, but my eyes...

l still have Tetris for the Nintendo DS and its a solid release but I miss the keyboard control over the d-pad and small screen of the 3DS I play it on and likewise, still searching for something better.
