I saw a sign in the back of the Apple Store on Regent Street last night that said that, as of 7pm, the store had raked in over £387,000 that day, and they were still to be open for another three hours.

This is not a holiday weekend here, and while it is getting closer to Christmas, the shopping at this time of year is nothing like the Thanksgiving Weekend Shopathon in the USA. Our sale day, equivalent to the one that the USA had on Friday, doesn't even come until the first week in December.

I'd call this pretty profitable.

Wow, that's more than what a lot of larger PC World stores pull in over a whole week!

Who did say it wasn't profitable?!
