Even a 64gb iPhone 5 will cost up-to €500 ($672) on a 24 month contract here...


I've just paid €650 ($873) for an unlocked 16gb Xperia Z....

My 64Gb iPhone 5 unlocked was €899 ($1208).................

I see you're point :(

I forgot how the cost structure is so different in Europe.

Virgin and T-Mobile and trying to change that by charging full price for an iPhone here and then have a reduced monthly plan but so far for Virgin that's been a bust (may be other factors for them) and T-Mo hasn't rolled that out - they're just talking about it.
