This phone actually looks nice! I don't think I will get one. But didn't know OEMs were still making clamshell phones!

A lot of people just don't want or need a touchscreen. Heck, my wife still uses a flip phone.

There's just something satisfying about a phone that you can use without looking. Answer by opening, hang up by close. Dial by feel if need be. Can't beat that. (Personally, I think Apple screwed us all up by making it normal to NOT include Send/Hangup buttons on either side of the Home button.)

Flip phones have actually gotten popular again in places like Japan, with increasing sales.

They've also been seen around really rich people, who have staff to do the things that most of us do on smartphones :)

If it wasn't for the fact that I hate texting on a flip phone keyboard I would get one and just use an iPod touch for everything else.

I still use an old Samsung clam shell phone, bought over 10 years ago.
It's tiny, but still does a good job.

LOL...so maybe the rich and famous will make the flip phone trendy again? We just need to have more of them seen hold one! :)
But for me I can't ever see myself hitting keys multiple times to get to certain letters ever again.

I agree. However, this has a touchscreen. So, for texting and typing, you wouldn't need to use the physical keyboard.

For a secondary phone, this could be good. Too bad, in the US, we won't see this.

Buttons are a temptation by Satan and Jesus is risen with multi-touch to save us with his glory and lack of a cumbersome physical user interface, read the bible you heathens.

Clamshells are dead. That looks like a POS.

Dont forget to order your black adidas tracksuit with gold stripes along with this phone.

Clamshells are dead.

Not in China which is where I suspect this model is headed. It's funny seeing just how long they are when opened.

Oh they go for that too. Brand it up - the more obvious the better.

With that much volume, it better have a huge battery. It's a nice looking phone but those numpad buttons don't look too tactile. They seem very flat. What's the point of having a clamshell that you can't intuitively use to call people without looking at the dialer. It defeats the purpose.
