With iOS 5 came the new reminders app & to those with a 4S, Siri. How awesome would it be to ask Siri to set up conditional (if, then) reminders?

For example:
-"If it's below 40 degrees tomorrow, remind me to start my car at 7AM"
-"If it's raining tomorrow morning, remind me to grab my umbrella at 9AM"
-"If I'm not home by 8PM, remind me to set my DVR"

Does anyone else think this would be a good idea to implement into iOS 5?

Hmm, seems that it shouldn't be too difficult to get Siri to do. Have you tried it? What does Siri do when you try?

Siri can already do something similar: "Remind me to take out the trash when I get home." If Siri can do that, it can do this.

@Josh: likely you're more interested in current conditions than a forecast. Does it at least get the current conditions kind of right?

Definitely a good idea. Since Siri is still in Beta, I can see this coming soon in like 5.1 or something. My humble opinion is that we won't see Siri do more things, or an update for Siri, until either December, or more likely next year. But don't think we'd have to wait until iOS 6 mate!

Btw, if you haven't already, submit these suggestions to Apple feedback... not sure if they read them or not, but worth a shot.

@iThinkergoiMac: I have tried telling Siri to do a conditional reminder and it didn't work. It only got the time part of it. There definitely is hope of this happening, especially since Siri is already tied into the weather app.

@AIP5: Yeah, Siri definitely has a lot of room for expanding. The amount of stuff it can do already is awesome, it just needs to be integrated more. It would be really convenient if I could say, "turn Bluetooth on/off". You can already have it respring by saying "restart" so this should definitely be added. And also, where would I go to leave feedback? I looked earlier today and could not find where I could do this at.
