So one just asked me who took the bite out of the Apple logo?
I didn't know what to tell them?
Who did you think did it?

Michael Scott?
A. C. "Mike" Markkula?
John Sculley?
Michael Spindler?
Gil Amelio?
Steve Jobs?

Maybe it was Steve Jobs because he was mad at Apple for succeeding.

Because the 1st logo was hell to silkscreen…

Apparently the bite refers to Alan Turing, who committed suicide by eating an apple he had laced with cyanide.

Interesting, I did know that was the first Apple logo though.
Who's Alan Turing?

I've always heard about the "Adam and Eve" / "Tree of Knowledge" reference, but not Alan Turing.

Has either one been confirmed?
