Hello, i installed Windows on my C2D macbook pro and need some help.
I did bootcamp once, created the partition and then it froze...so i went in and created another partition and then restarted as the instructions say.

The only problem now is that out of a 120gb hard drive. . 20gb is windows, and there's only 66gb left on my mac one. Did i set up a hidden partition of another 20gb somewhere before bootcamp froze the first time? How do i get that back and add it to my Mac OS space.

Yeah, I had that happen to me. I accidently closed Bootcamp while it was partitioning the drive, I pretty much lost that part of the partition and couldnt touch it. Had to redo the whole drive's partition (reinstall OS X to get my space back). There is a reason why Bootcamp is beta...

Right, I started bootcamp and burned the disk, selected the partitioned space and inserted my XP disk. Mty computer then failed to shut down, and now I have 30GB on my macbook pro missing in this misterious parition which I cant see and has nothing in it. Is there anything I can do to merge it back to the OSX parition and start over with bootcamp, or have I just lost 30GB off my HDD for good :(? If I did re-install OSX, would I get my 30GB back? Its very annoying I have to say.

I was about to start the Boot Camp Assistant, but it wont let me proceed as i have already partitioned my HD in two partitions on my C2D MBP. Do i have to re-partition everything to one partition, or is there a way to go around this? Don't want to re-install all my applications

Ended up just going into bootcamp and this time it gave me the option to make it one parition again. Didnt say that the last time. Oh well, fixed now.
