Hi all, i accidentally added hundreds of fonts using font book, and i don't know how to delete them now that things are all mixed up. i tried using finder but i can't figure out how to sort by "Date Created." how do you get that column up? I think I could then go by date and zap all of today's. thanks!!!

sorry new mac user!

You should be able to see that under column view.

ah, show view options :apple:j

but that did not help, the fonts are shown as created not on the day it was placed on the drive, but some other day. hmmmmmm....is there any way to find files placed in the fonts folder today other then going thru one by one? thx

Did you try sorting them by "Date Modified"? Sometimes that works for me, but sometimes it doesn't. Worth a shot, though...

nah, but DUH, i have a dejavu backup from yesterday...hope i can just replace the entire fonts folder without screwing the system up...let's see! hey that worked.

but now i see that i don't understand mac font implementation. wherever there is a library folder, ie. mackintosh hd/library/fonts, mackintosh hd/user1/fonts, mackintosh hd/user2/fonts, etc.

but at least i have the number down to something manageable now! thx.
