I've had one for 8 hours and I can't get enough of it. Who's staying up all night to play with theirs and listen to tunes? :)

I'd love to, but instead I've been waiting for activation since 8PM....soooo pissed. This makes no sense. I understand a lot of people are trying to activate their phones but come on, 7 hours later and I'm still waiting? This is getting ridiculous. I am not happy.

I put mine up for now. I was getting a bit frustrated trying to get wifi working properly so I will give it another shot tomorrow.

Still waiting on activation.... SIX HOURS LATER.... I think the long wait is because I am porting my number from Verizon.

Yeah, I've been playing with my iPhone for the past few hours.

I got lucky, I guess. I got in line at 7pm, was home and setting up the account by 8pm, and the phone itself received its first call in at 9:30 pm.

So far, it's great.

I'm going to be up all night. :)

I should put her away for the night, but I went out with some friends.. and continued to play with it a little bit.
"oh wait! I'll google it!" and "oh.. here, I'll check the traffic!" and "look at this cake I made!!"

This phone is working 100% perfectly for me. It's utterly fantastic. I've had no problems with activation at all; it's wonderful.

Yeah I thought the port might be the same problem...then I read in another thread on here someone at 7:45PM pacific time had 10 minutes of activation time porting from T-Mobile..and I'm porting from T-Mobile....why is it someone that gets it 3 hours after me has it working in 10 minutes and here I am 7 hours later still waiting? I asked this question to AT&T and they were very stuttery and said some crap about east coast "very important updates" to their own computers...which caused this problem to east coasters...Great!

At this point, this could be an indefinite wait....I asked if others that have called about this same issue have eventually gotten theirs activated and she honestly told me that she hasnt heard anything yet..so who really knows if this was some error on their end that is causing this delay that will never actually go through..? If people doing the same thing as me AFTER me are having no wait time, it just seems to me like this could be an error that doesnt end up going through. They may have just not realized it yet.

Much as I would like to stay up and play with it (the phone) all night, I don't think I can stay awake much longer.

omg it's 4 am here and i just noticed the time thanks to this thread.

sheesh i gotta walk away and get some sleep.

have fun everyone...

Hmmm, wonder if the other carriers are delaying the port on purpose. The articles over the last few days here on MR make it seem like they all want the iPhone to fail (by spreading lies about it, etc.)

I am definately up all night I love it the only thing I cannot get to work is my wifi connection. It connects but won't load any data and it is working fine on all my computers. Really odd... Any suggestions please let me know.

I am typing from the iphone now. Up 'til 3ish am also.

Stayed up all night and still can't play with iPhone.

Although I stood in line from 9 pm on Thurs to 6 pm on Fri. Although I spent 30 min (no joke) in the store because my AT&T rep had technical difficulties. I walked out of the store with an iPhone, but... Although I have made numerous calls to get the iPhone working...

It is 7:37 am and I still do not have a working iPhone.

I am so red (both from sunburn and anger).
