I just bought my first phone!! (Galaxy Ultra) to test out and hopefully keep! Can anyone share their Speed tests? Also I don’t see many commercials from AT&T touting their 5g+ as I do with Verizon. Why?

^ I would say your reply is useless, but the post isn't. If people want to share their 5G speeds, or lack thereof, then more power to them.
I've only tested T-mobiles 5G and its well ****. Its basically a less consistent LTE because its low-band and not mmWave.
In Manhattan, I tested a couple places T-mobile. 920Mbs was the fastest I've seen so far. Most of the towers are on buildings 6 stories or higher. The place where I got 920Mbs was across the street from a T-mobile store only 2 stories high. My average speed from towers 6 stories or higher is about 400-650Mbs. I live in Queens, and didn't notice any mmwave spots yet.
I have the Ultra as well on At&t, and while At&t says 5G is in my area, I haven't seen it yet, so no speeds. Though we have been on lockdown for a while, so I haven't been out very much to try to find it.
I’ve tried it with T-Mobile also on the note 10 5g and concur. Only carriers with live 5g+ networks around here are AT&T and Verizon but only AT&T in my exact city. AT&T keeps saying it’s live everywhere here but I know that’s bull. Especially since their coverage map doesn’t show it here but in a slither of highway not even in my area (Raleigh) but it shows up in

Question for the 5g users out there. Do you notice better LTE strength on 5g devices in non-5g areas? I was hoping that the 5g iPhone 12 would mean better fall back on LTE than your traditional iPhone XS or 11. The Intel modems are pretty lousy and Qualcomm is slightly better. I had less issues on T-Mobile on a Galaxy S10 than the XS. I can't stand T-Mobile, but it's all I can afford.

I carry the Pro Max and S20 Ultra. Both on T-mobile in NYC.
Yes I've experienced annoying signal issues with the Pro Max, much worst than previous iPhones.
On the Ultra, I've noticed 5G signals (not mmwave) seem to stick in places that are basically dead spots when using LTE. Like elevators, basements, and known dead zone areas. I tested this using the S10+ which doesn't have 5G, and the toggled 5G off and on with the Ultra. Reports were not lying when they stated 5G has better penetration. Although in many cases you'll still see some bars drop, but at least phone and data still work. Hopefully it's the same experience with the next iPhone.
