Just got another promo for Apple Music. Still not interested. For the third time,I went into settings, Notifications and selected “Don’t allow”. Really starting to hate Apple.
My thoughts exactly. I said “don’t allow” and still I get messages. That IS a big deal. That has been happening for several years. Not a big deal. I see nothing wrong with Apple doing that. If it happens after you said 'don't allow, then there is a problem.
Do you have personalized ads suggestion turned off as well?My thoughts exactly. I said “don’t allow” and still I get messages. That IS a big deal.
I was getting nag messages inside the Music app, those nag messages disappeared when I turned that toggle off. I’m guessing toggling off will also disabled the notifications you’re getting. No I didn’t. Thanks,I'll do that. Typical of Apple to make it complicated.
thanks again.
My pleasureThanks for your help Iwavvns.
Apple respects your privacy _so_ much, that they don't remember your settings. My thoughts exactly. I said “don’t allow” and still I get messages. That IS a big deal.

I get your point in general but it’s not complicated and actually makes sense. No I didn’t. Thanks,I'll do that. Typical of Apple to make it complicated.
thanks again.
Ha! I thought I was the only one.Oh that's nothing. Apple has spammed my inbox daily with an Apple One free trial offer that if I open it just tells me I'm ineligible. I had to disable their emails. This is just advertising harassment.
Just pray Apple don’t secretly turn it back on after a software update, or just after some time, without you knowing. No I didn’t. Thanks,I'll do that. Typical of Apple to make it complicated.
thanks again.
and Judith LightWell this thread was disappointing… I thought we were going to discuss the greatness of Tony Danza.
Are Spotify allowed to do the same? That has been happening for several years. Not a big deal. I see nothing wrong with Apple doing that. If it happens after you said 'don't allow, then there is a problem.
