Ordered my 3G 32GB iPad from a local apple resaler on April 29th. They are an authorized store that sells only macs and do awesome repair work. However, I'm still yet to receive my iPad from them. It's been 3 weeks and they said it would be only one and keep telling me no one is getting shipments for the 3G, though I saw BB had some last night but couldn't go there because I had a meeting. I'm on a waiting list of of 5/14 at the local apple store, but who knows when that will come through. Anyone else waited longer?

Who waited the longest?

Me and I will be.

I have been wanting a tablet for a while, but I might pass on the current form. Besides, it's not even in Europe yet.

Rev C will be available in 2 years - maybe then.

Like Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, and Singapore. New Zealanders will have to wait till sometime in July. Neither the date nor the price structure have been announced. :(

Come up to Belfast for the craic next Friday get one there!
Wouldn't chance it to be honest. With my luck, they wouldn't have one by the time I'd get to the top of the queue. I'll be able to get the VAT back if I buy here so I don't mind waiting a few weeks now.
Will have a new 4g iPhone in the meantime to keep me amused

Ordered a 16gb 3G on the 28th of April from an authorized Apple reseller. Still waiting.

From the official iPad launch until now, from Argentina waiting for my new and revolutionary device. I just can't wait, i also waiting for my 17'' mbp i7 beast

"Bought" one on 27 April on eBay from a dodgy scammer. Finally got my money back, learnt a lesson and am now waiting until 28 May for the official release :p

8 more sleeps!

Does 45 min in line on launch day count?:D
Sort of like me, I got mine on launch day when I went in to BB at 2:00 pm CST just check it out. After playing with it for 20 minutes or so I decided to buy one fully expecting to be told they were sold out. When I asked they guy if they had any left he said, "Sure, how many do you want?"

Wow Macmall still has you waiting??

Yup. Still waiting. I really don't know what's going on. I don't know if there are 100 orders in front of me. They keep telling me apple hasn't released any ipads to them yet. Every week I call it's the same "apple was supposed to send it to us but we haven't got allocation yet."

At this point I've waited so long that cancelling and ordering directly from apple will feel like what I've done/waited till this point would all be a waste. It won't help that apple online orders are now a long wait as well. It's kind of a weird mentality. Kinda like dangling the carrot in front of my face.

Absolute last time I ever deal with macmall once I get my order (whenever this century that is).

Weird that all you guys have had so much trouble waiting. I bought one probably 2-3 days after release then decided I wanted to exchange it because of the Wifi problems and I called up every Best Buy near me and they all had some (Probably 1-2 weeks ago). The Best Buy I went to actually had a full case them (I'd say 30 iPads were in there).

So where ARE all the iPads you ask? They are sitting in stores that are not receiving sales. Apple is creating hype by sending their iPads everywhere, instead of to the high volume and highly populated locations.

go again.... and you'll see there's none left.

I ordered my 3G from macconnection.com, and initially was told they were supposed to get their first shipment on 4/30. Then it became 5/14. Now 5/21. I spoke to them today and they are still expecting a shipment tomorrow but said it all depends on Apple. So I am hoping to get mine early next week. We'll see. They sounded as annoyed as I am but it all depends on what Apple sends them. Sounds like they have been putting their authorized resellers at the end of the line, after direct orders/Apple stores and BB.

I ordered mine April 23rd, it got to my house May 7th, my parents waited a week to ship to to me and now its on its way from the states to me. I hope it gets here soon :( I need something to cuddle with on these long, lonely nights....:p

My wait is over!!!!! BB had a 64gb 3G in stock this morning and I went and snagged one then went to the apple resaler and got a refund. WOO HOO!!!!!!!
