iPad mini 4 on the top. iPad mini 6 on the bottom. I am way too old to ever get used to the idea of these two keys being switched. Is there any way to fix this?
Which one do you like? Give the other one to someone else.iPad mini 4 on the top. iPad mini 6 on the bottom. I am way too old to ever get used to the idea of these two keys being switched. Is there any way to fix this?
It is absolutely jarring. No question. It’s reversed on the iPhone, which most of us use. I think it’s a terrible decision by Apple to have an iPad with one keyboard setup and an iPhone with another.iPad mini 4 on the top. iPad mini 6 on the bottom. the new one more closely resembles the iPad hardware keyboards though where the globe is on the lower leftIt is absolutely jarring. No question. It’s reversed on the iPhone, which most of us use. It is annoying indeed, my muscle memory keeps tripping me up. Why oh why?iPad mini 4 on the top. iPad mini 6 on the bottom. I am way too old to ever get used to the idea of these two keys being switched. Is there any way to fix this?

Too old to know more than one language as well? That’s hilarious. Just noticed that now too. Doesn’t bother me too much. I’m too old to use emojis anyway ?
I speak 6. Not sure what your point isToo old to know more than one language as well?
Yeah, I still hit the globe when I want to hit the number key. I would also like to have the option of changing the keyboard to the older style (ie Mini 4). If anyone knows how to do this, would be great to know~iPad mini 4 on the top. iPad mini 6 on the bottom. I am way too old to ever get used to the idea of these two keys being switched. ????Emojis should be disabled by default on all devices. It's dumbing down our communication and our society.
That’s nothing new, though. The builtin apps on iPhone and iPad have the same buttons in different places. Once you’ve build up muscle memory on one device you constantly get annoyed on the other. It’s been bugging me for many years.I think it’s a terrible decision by Apple to have an iPad with one keyboard setup and an iPhone with another.

You think that's bad, the left-side shift-key on my old MBP stopped working so I have had to overcome 30 years of muscle memory to use the right-side shift-key....I'm an old dog and new tricks aren't that easy to learn.
