hi, guys

I've got q question concerning the find-my-friends stuff.

What's gonna exactly happen if you and your wife's iphone share one apple ID?
Whose location should be displayed on their device, assuming they stay in a different location?

I've just read somebody has commented like below.
"I used to see where my wife was on her journey home using her Apple ID"

It look like it would display the location of the one who actullay create the apple ID first time on her device.
So whole apple device would show one specific location from the device which
has actually been used to creat the apple ID first time.
This is my assumption. Is this right?

You can share one Apple ID for the App Store but still have separate IDs for iCloud. This permits you to have separate email, contacts, calendars, etc and presumably will allow unique identification under FMF.

Yes, that's possible.
But even if you seprate one apple ID into a couple of iCloud ID so that family member can use,
it wound't mean that each iCloud ID allow family, who share one single apple ID, to have different location infomation on their own iOS devices.

Actually, I've seen much of complainment on "Find My Friends" service in itunes because of one single apple ID shared by a family's multi-apple devices.
So I was asking which iOSs device location would be shown to the whole family devices.
DO you have any idea about it?

You send the Find Friends request to an email address, not necessarily the Apple ID. Hubby and I use the same iTunes Apple ID for purchases but have different iCloud IDs. We can find each other just fine.

I gave my daughter who is ten my iPhone 4 when I purchased the iPhone 4S but I can't create her an iCloud account because of her age so when I check her out in Find My Friends she shows up with my name as I have to use my ID to log her in on her phone.
