Why am I getting the wrong message?

I updated my iPhone 6 and now I am getting all of everything from my dads (we share the same iCloud account) phone. How do I reset this so I just get what is intended for mine?

Stop using the same iCloud account. They are not meant to be shared. Use Family Sharing instead.

Check iMessage settings to see what addresses you are set to receive and send from and make sure only the appropriate ones are checked.
