I figured out why Apple won't release a web player and we are forced to use that bloated POS iTunes. I notice when iTunes glitches won't load Apple music or it just a blank screen it will have no problem loading there Store tab with all of there new terrible music. I even seen error messages on iTunes pop up then it brings you right to the Store which always seems to load fine. They still want you to buy music in the store which they know a web player will just work having Apple Music but lost sails when you can't buy music buy not redirecting you to the Store section.

Really annoying. I hate iTunes so much and even new music more so it is annoying when I try to listen to Apple Music it errors out and pushes me to the stupid Store app at least remember the tab for old music, Christian or Jazz music.

Also forgot to say if you disable the Store in restrictions which I tried once you guessed it Apple Music stops working and your music vanishes. Only deleting the app setting I was able to fix it again.

I agree, this was one of my big cons when I was deciding over a year ago between Apple, Google, and Spotify. At first I felt like it was a dealbreaker, but I've adjusted. That said, I'd definitely appreciate a web player.

I tried the other services and the sound quality is not as great as Apple Music. I am spoiled now.

As a non-Apple Music person that has purchased 30gb worth of music on iTunes over the last 15 years.... I hate that it's not a separate app.

Renting movies / tv shows needs to be it's own thing.

Streaming music needs to be it's own thing.

Your own personal library of stuff needs to be it's own thing.

And for syncing devices.... they just need to do that with a separate "iCloud" app to manage backups.

The only thing that thinks why Apple wont do a player is because it attract people to Apple Eco-system better. If you use iTunes, chanes are you also sync an i.product as well...

If Apple music was web based, where is the incentive? It would be easier for users, but Apple's not all about user experience for all..

Their in it, to get users, and what better way then have them use iTunes.

Some people are not allowed to install Apps like iTunes at work but can use a web based player. So more people might sign up for Apple Music if they could use at work.

Also the possibility of using web enabled devices that don't install apps. An example might be that a Tesla possibly could use the web player or tablet devices.
