Been having this issue since 10.11.1. Anyone else seeing this in Safari? I don't have Flash installed.

Happens under 10.10.5 as well, and seems to be a YouTube issue because I'm pretty sure that I didn't change anything when it started happening. I've used YouTube's feedback thingy, but it'll probably help if more people submit similar comments.

I noticed that if I pause and resume the video it fixes it. Pretty annoying.

I also had this issue and thought it was a problem with my GPU, to fix it I had to click on the trackpad, but since the latest Safari update, I haven't had any problem, I was very worried about it (My computer has Applecare) Thanks to OP, now I found out it is a known issue, I am not worried anymore :)
