It's sorta early in the transition for me to jump on the Intel bandwagon...I have never had anything against PPC. I have no interest in picking up an Intel Mac for a few years until PPC is really the stupidest option and Intel is the smartest option. I'm probably going to force my dad to buy himself an Intel Mac for himself (he's still running a 4 year old HP). I can't complain about the speed on this G5, I'm encoding video on Toast, replying to threads here, listening to music, talking to friends all at the same time, with no slow-downs. The only thing that holds people back from getting an intel is:

1. Rev A's are hard to trust
2. Not everything is Universal yet...(including all of the adobe products)

I love intel cuz it's faster than PPC.
if PPC were faster, I'd love PPC. (AND YES I WANT SPEED)
But right now, the things that I do are faster on Intel based mac than PPC based,
and no i don't want to compare my mac with powermac, cuz it's expensive.
If you are willing to pay me for powermac, then fine, I'll agree with all of these !@#$!@#!@$PPC RULES !@#$!@$!@#!@# threads.

Other than that, this thread is just waste

Just use one for more than 10 minutes and you'll see what all the fuss is about. I sold my Powerbook G4 (latest rev) for a MBP. Got my MBP...insanely fast. So fast that I sold my QUAD!!!! The MBP beats it in a number of minor things like opening UB apps, surfing the net, iPhoto, etc. Similar speeds in big apps like Final Cut Pro which is acceptable for the moment (at least until the Intel towers come out)

Hey, yeah. That's why I've listed my Quad on eBay. In fact, I'll pm you about that.

OS 9 is dead. It died about three years ago. Let. It. Go.

WMP sucked. Microsoft ended development because it sucked.

Who cares about the looks? You aren't supposed to see them anyway.
Finally, someone who thinks like me! :D
