In Word on Mac, why are keyboard shortcuts split between option and command? Why is it command-c and command-v for cut/paste, but option+shift/shift-arrow for moving the cursor and selection? And, what really gets me -- why does ctrl-arrow (which I accidentally do out of muscle memory from 20+ years of Word on Windows) change styles?!?

And why are there minor differences between the Windows and Mac versions of Office 365 anyway? The convenient quick selection of the most recently modified files when attaching in Outlook is gone.

That's because Microsoft doesn't care about standards at all. Look at their Outlook app for Mac. Or their iOS app. Or at Outlook on Windows. It should be the same experience. But it couldn't be more different.
I'm from Austria, so my native language is German. On Outlook for Windows the Archive folder is called "Archiv". In Outlook for iOS it is called "Archive" but it is still the same folder and in Outlook for Mac it can't find the original folder and creates a new "Archive" folder, leading to having 2 different folders for the same.
What makes me really mad is that they stripped the possibility to point the app to a specific folder. :)
