Please, no flaming, or at least keep it to a minimum. I'm curious as to why so many want an ipad? What features and capabilities does it have over what you currently have, makes it so good. Why is it better than what's already out there, and again, better or at least a welcome addition to what you have? What does the ipad do that doesn't overlap with what you currently have?

What niche does it fill exactly. When you saw what the ipad did, why did you think, oh boy, none of these other things I've got sitting around can do that, I need this too.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7E18 Safari/528.16)

Hasn't this been discussed to death already. Seems people are making threads for the sake of making threads. Oh well.

Oh you got in before me Miles, coulda saved myself some typing :p

I'm not asking will or won't you purchase one. I'm asking for the ones that will, for what reasons. Worthy of it's own thread. One question can be answered with a yes or no answer. I'm interested in more of an explanation, a list of reasons.
