iPad Mini 5, 15.2. I updated from 14 to 15.2 sometime late Thursday or Friday. Every week, twice a week, I send a few photos for my work to my main email account from the Photos app. In my first send of photos since updating to 15, none are coming through on the Mini (webmail, Safari) or my Win 10 desktop, and there are no error messages. The three photos would have each been in the 250 kb range. I had to switch to my webmail program and attach them to an email from there to get them through. What might be going on? Is there some setting that needs changing after the update? Thanks,

Follow up: It’s not the Photo app but the Share facility, which uses Mail, that’s not working. Using Share from a website doesn’t get through either. I don’t find any evidence of the emails in Mail though.

HELP anyone?? If not here (or Apple Communities), where should I turn? This is crazy, photos send with 14.x then don't with 15.2.

I can’t help you I’m afraid. I’ve tested it on my iPad 11” 2018 which is on 15.2 and it worked. (I use the stock Apple Mail app.)

Photos app > I selected 3 photos > Share > Mail > Entered another of my email addresses in the “To” field > Changed the size of the photos to medium (to get closer to your 250kb range) > Send

Thanks. I assume you mean by Share the symbol with the up arrow. If so, you did exactly what I do, down to the reduction. I tried to contact Apple support yesterday for chat or a phone call, but it kept returning an error message.

Yep, it was via the share button (the symbol with the up arrow).

I’ve just tried using share from a website in Safari, and that also works as expected.

The only thing I can think of is that something became corrupt during your install of 15.2. Can you try to reinstall?

Nowadays, for any major version of iOS, and the major point releases, I install via iTunes rather than over the air (i.e, 15.0, 15.1, 15.2, etc. - not that I installed 15.0, I waited until 15.1 before I moved from 14.8.1). For the “point point” releases (i.e. 14.8.1) I upgrade over the air. This seems to work for me and I don’t seem to experience many issues that others do.
