entirely necessary for a phone. I hate that it's not there, I text half messages and messages with typos all the time.
Or you could, you know, actually read your SMS before hitting "send."
Nah, too easy....

What's the point of trolling minor feature request threads? This feature is in most "dumb" phones.
I guess his point is similar to the OP's as the OP's point reads as though he is asking why, then he hits people with "hey it's here for people who jailbreak". If you ask me, the post is written in a similar trolling manner. The title should or could have read "Stop text messages from being sent available no on Cydia" or wherever it's available.![]()

I guess we all troll in your own way, right Jessica?![]()
Just wanna share the love and "ignorance" of Apple.
And you accuse ME of trolling?
You know how to send a feature request to Apple. Everyone does. trolling about it here accomplishes nothing.
Just enjoy your jailbroken iPhone.
It's available now for people who jailbreak. However,as usual, if you don't jailbreak its not a option.
This is what I'm talking about here
Something so simple and easy to do is still not in the OS. Sigh Apple.
What's the name of this package?
And before anybody gets on me for not watching the video, YouTube is blocked where I am.
Aw crap. I already paid for iRealQuickSMS.
The question, like all other "this feature isn't in iPhoneOS" thread is not why they can't but why they choose not to. Of course they could add this, but they decided not to. Nobody here knows why: my own guess would be that it's probably for simplicity's sake, since Apple is obsessed with streamlining the UI. Whatever the reason, posting here about it is ridiculous. Go put in your feature request on the Apple website.
I added it to feature request a long time ago! Multiple times to be honest![]()
The jailbreaking method utilizes a "cheap trick" if Apple were to hardcode it to the OS it would work the same way as other phones.
But thanks for playing
Who exactly are you replying to? I don't think anyone here has said that the jailbreak fix is identical to whatever Apple might implement, only that it's all you're likely to get.
As an aside, "But thanks for playing" has got to be the most infuriating phrase used on a message board. I think that phrase should be a bannable offense.
