Hi everyone ...

Probably a really simple answer to this ... but i can't find it ... So hope somebody can help.

I've just clean reinstalled Mojave on my Mac. I want to download some previously purchased apps from App Store to add to my hard drive - Apps like Apple Pages etc.

However, i only see option for "Open" and run the app. The app works when i click "Open", but I'd like it on my HD in case i don't have internet sometime.

How do i get that App Store Cloud Download icon to re-appear please?

Thanks ...

If it says “open” rather than showing the re-download icon, that means it’s already installed on your Mac.

Ahhh ... thanks ... i see i have it on a second drive (back up) and it seems the OS has detected this. I've just dragged across. Didn't expect Mojave to know this and wanted a complete clean install. Appreciate your help ... :)
