Why can't I find silicone sleeves for iPad?

Either I'm really looking in the wrong place or else these don't exist. Has anyone found a clear silicone sleeve for the iPad?

The only one I thought I found ended up being a hardshell case and I wasted $40

I agree, Apple seems to have gone very anti-case for the iPad. When I got mine the week it was released they had 5 or 6 different cases at the Apple Store. My wife got her iPad for her birthday yesterday and now the only case they sell is the clear hardcase. I wonder why Apple is transitioning away from 3rd party cases? BestBuy isn't much help either, I've got two that sell iPads around me and they don't have anything. I guess I'll be looking online for cases in the future.

Have you tried eBay? I bought a silicone skin (not clear, though) through ebay not too long ago. Or do you mean something else, like a neoprene sleeve?

I have one, it's clear, medium soft and grippy.
