So there I was in Germany - and I lost my 'precious' ( iPhone 4s ) while on a trip to a nearby town :eek:

No worries I thought...I'll log on to iCloud on my girlfriends phone, log in, and use ' Find My iPhone feature ' to: Find my phone - and impress my girlfriend. :D

But when going on the web with her iPhone 4 ( iOS 5.01 ) - it said 'Javascript Requires' ( there was no link to install the javascript required ).

So the ONE time I really NEEDED it - it didn't bloody WORK.:mad::mad:

Any idea why it wouldn't work, and how to fix it?

cheers:)

You can't fix it, exactly. To use the "find my iPhone" feature on an iPhone you need to use the app from the app store, not the website.

In Apple's infinite wisdom you can't get to the iCloud website from a phone or iPad. This makes little to no sense to me and it's probably unlikely that they will change it. The goal in iOS 5 was to make it computer free... unless you actually need to use the website.

Right, but you could trace your phone using the find my friends app, if you authorized your girlfriend to track you.
