Why cant you buy hd movies in uk itunes store??

Its so annoying that i have the ipad but cant buy hd movies to keep!!

Why can the us store buy hd movies and uk not?

Because the studios won't let them; it's a licensing issue. They have to negotiate separately in each country.

Personally I think it's dumb.
