I always try to keep my home screen layout as "default" as possible due to OCD. But today, after wiping my phone clean, I noticed that Safari and Mail apps have switched places by default. Why do you think Apple decided to make this change? I'm not surprised when native apps outside the dock move around by default, but for the Dock, it's a first. I mean, it's been the same Dock since the day one back in 2007. Apparently, the change happened in iOS 8.4.

I know I can easily change it back, but I'm just curious why the change. What do you think?

I have a conspiracy theory but I'll wait to share it.

This is my home screen btw:

Because the Music icon is now white, and two white icons next to each other looks bad (read: weird).

The music icon turned white with the 8.4 update to mark the release of Apple Music.
