So I had big clean install and logged into iCloud from my Mac first time. Then got email that

Your Apple ID () was used to sign in to FaceTime and iMessage on a Mac

I don't use neither FaceTime or iMessage. So why? Does logging into iCloud sign me in to those two things as well?

I then went to Apple Id site and changed my password as well. Only later noticed that when opening FaceTime, I was logged in.

I turned FaceTime off, clicked and it opened, saying I need Apple Password, yet it logged me in right away. Tried it several times, it never asked password.

I closed it, tried few minutes later and got this:

So what's going on? Why did Mac log me into this when going to iCloud? Is it normal it was open and let me log in and out without password, but then demanded it?

Should I change my Apple Password? Is FaceTime security risk?

Please anyone, I need advice.

Anytime you use your iCloud information to sign in it automatically turns on those services. Does not look like a way to avoid it on initial set-up. you can sign out and be good.

Oh, thank you! That explains it.
