Why did I click General/iPad Storage/Messages on iCloud?

10.5 iPad Pro, iOS11, (15A5304j), I wrongly clicked Enable - General/iPad Storage/Messages On iCloud. It won't stop spinning. I should not have tried to enable it. Does anyone know how to stop it trying to enable?

I thought restoring the iPad Pro from a previous iOS11 backup, but it won't stop trying to enable.

I have signed out of iCloud on both my iMac and my iPad Pro, rebooted both, signed into iCloud on both, and the stupid setup wheel is still spinning. Don't enable this stupid item.

I certainly will when iOS 11 is released. In the meanwhile remember to report this bug so that Apple knows about it and fixes it before I update in the fall.
