Sometime it appear to be fine while at times it went up to 96000 Hz! I fixed it back to 48000 Hz sometimes later it shoot up... can anyone tell me how to solve? thanx!

A quick way to reset it is to open then close Garageband. Apple knows about this bug and it's been around for a while but as yet we haven't seen a fix. I'm not sure what exactly causes it and I don't know whether Apple is aware of what exactly is causing it either.

Mine did this too a couple of days ago.

However iTunes playback, etc works fine. It was just stuff in browsers which wouldn't work.

My question is, if you set the output to 96K is the audio signal being upsampled to 96K?

i supposed it is if the output is at 96 Hz... so guys, meaning there's nothing we can do bout this?
