Been wondering why the Atom based Windows 8 tablets are getting very little interest compared to the Surface RT.

If you ordered an RT, be interested in hearing why?

I would think that Atoms have a bad reputation while ARM used in Apple and Androids have a good one; for thinks the tablets.
Could be the more energy efficency/performane/price combination; I don't have any benchmark on hand to proof.
To be fair: in my NAS is a dual Atom and serving me very well.

I dont think a lot of folks know the difference.

And even more: it doesn't really matter for the regular user with which CPU they tweet, googlen or facebook'n.

It's more for the technical folks.

Though lots question will come once the user realize some software from the "big" Win8 will not run on RT.
