It bothered me that my spaces kept resetting after I restarted my Mac.

I ended up using e.g. Spotify not in full screen mode, assigning it to its own Desktop/Space - this way it is in the same spot after I restart.

How can I use e.g. Spotify/Outlook/Apple Music in full screen mode, without losing its space after the restart?

This may be a bit OCD, but I wonder why it is such a hassle. Tried all mission control options and it annoys me...

Any help is appreciated.

this is why I never use full-screen and consider the green window icon to be a little bomb. I hate the change in context and difficulty to work with more than one app.

Because "fullscreen" is not considered the same as the old "maximize" function, and for some reason Apple thinks fullscreen should be the default

If you want to maximize, you can hold Alt and the green button should change from the arrows to a plus symbol

Option + green button is an interesting hint I did not knew! Thank you.

@All: Since I did not want to pay for additional software, I do not use full screen mode any longer - it does the trick for me.
