How many partitions does everyone have when selecting the partition to install Windows? I noticed I have four or five. Two of them are my main ones (OSX partition, Windows Partition).. but there's two or three random ones that are either 128mb or 200mb. Are these partitions taking space up on my computer. I don't recall seeing them under OSX.

This is completely normal. You should have 4 partitions (not necessarily in order):
1. Mac OS X
2. Windows
3. GPT partition table (128 MB, isn't called that in Windows but that's what it's for)
4. "Unpartitioned space" (200 MB), which isn't unpartitioned space at all. Windows just doesn't know that this is actually the so-called HFS wrapper partition, used by Mac OS X to make the drive readable to Macs that don't understand HFS Plus.
