Tho the Wifi sign on my mid-2015 MBP running Catalina indicates I'm getting a signal and all is well, I am constantly getting thrown off the internet.
In the beginning it was a couple times a day, now it might be a bunch of times an hour, depending on if I'm changing websites frequently.
It's been ongoing for several years. In the beginning, disconnecting/reconnecting router and modem worked. Then resetting PRAM worked. Now I seem to be at the whim of the computer or Safari or the OS, I don't know where to start.
Chrome seemed to work better, even just opening it would "unfreeze" the internet. But it's working less well lately.
And if wifi works fine with my phone, that shouldn't be the problem.
Any ideas what or why I'm having a problem?
