why do other mouses don't work properly in mac?

hi. when it comes to gaming the magic mouse is just horrible. so i have a logitech's mx revolution. but the cursor doesn't move smoth as it should. tried another mouse from logitech same thing. tried the drivers from logitech same thing. tried mouse from microsoft same problem. however when i boot into windows xp the mouse just works perfectly, its smooth as ever.

why is that?

Try out Steermouse or USBOverdrive (google).

Have you tried MagicPrefs ? Free download from Apple site. There is a pre-configured setting for gaming. I don't game , so this might be totally duff.

My Razer Salmosa works great with my iMac. I like it much better than the Magic Mouse.
