I really hope that the new iPhone Xs doesn't have these ugly FCC messages in the back of the iPhone. It is located underneath the 'iPhone' logo. When watching various Youtube videos, I can see that some phones have this FCC logos and other's dont.

Also on the new iPhone XS phones that New Zealand customers have posted. There are no FCC logos at all which looks so much cleaner and nicer.

Different requirements for some regions. The UK models have the extra info on them, not a major issue when most people put a case on their phone.

The iPhone X never had any regularity logos and neither will the Xs series.

FCC changed rules in late 2015?-ish. Labelling is allowed to be electronic. Apple making use of that allowance,.

The logo is a mandatory declaration that the device doesn’t cause electromagnetic interference. The 2014 E-Label Act allows manufacturers to put the required information digitally on the screen instead of the marking that was there prior to 2014. FCC is a US organization so other countries might require marking if they don’t allow it to be displayed digitally.
