I transfered all data from my iPhone 11 to iPhone 14. Both using up to date iOS.

Some text messages did not transfer. Why is this? Is there a way to get them to transfer before I delete the old phone data and send it in for the trade-in credit?

Formatted mine recently and had it auto-populate text messages from the cloud... took a LONG time. Did you do the same, and do it very recently? Might just have to wait longer, and be on WiFi or whatnot. I'm also not sure if the OLD messages I had from before I signed up for more cloud storage would be on there either... (just in case that's a factor for you as well).

I did not do that... or rather I did nothing other than the usual data transfer using Apple's prompts.

To be clear, I have some messages and not others. In other words, the new phone:
1. Shows a message sent on a given day at 7:30 PM
2. Doesn't show a message sent at 7:35 PM
3. Shows a message sent at 7:40 PM

These messages preceded the new phone obviously.

Also the windows on my MacBook Air jump around when I move the cursor to the edge of the screen. No thanks Johnny! I want them to be static, stay where I put them.
