Why do you hate me email history? Why?

I would like to remove email contacts from my 8+ entirely but cannot figure out how to do it. The emails have been deleted. The email account I sent it from is deleted but when I go into my mail app and put the first letter of these contacts names in the search bar, they show up in the auto-recommend results as ‘people.’

Not to be too technical, but how can I ‘un-people’ these people?

Without knowing anything else, have you deleted the people from your contacts?

No, these are not ‘phone’ contacts I have added, just contacts automatically gleaned from emails that have been sent that now perpetually show up as ‘people’ suggestions to email.

Not to be too technical, but how can I ‘un-people’ these people?

Go to create a new e-mail. Type the first letter of the e-mail address in the to box. Tap the "i" button, then remove from recents.

You'll have to do this for every contact you wish to remove. Every time you send an e-mail, the address will be auto-stored as a recent contact.
