Why do you have an ipod touch?

Just got a nexus 5 since my mum upgraded. However, now I'm not sure what to do with the iPod.
Tbh i don't know what to do with it. It's a lot of heft in my pocket and my phone and ipod are the same side.
I do miss the IOS ecosystem though. I'm trying to persuade my mum to buy me the iPad mini3 but she says it's a waste of money and I'd be better off with Android.
So whst should I do with it? All replies would be very thankful for.

Since ios 8 slowed it down and I already have a ipad and note 3, I don't have a reason to use it at all.

I do have an iPod 4th gen. The battery lasts 30 min at most now, so it hardly gets used. I useit as a music player when its docked. Your iPod will most probably follow that same pattern. If the iOS ecosystem is important to you, sell it off while its still got some resale value and put the proceeds towards an ipad mini.
