After every update, without fail, I have to sign my Mac into Google accounts again. This is weird because you'd think upgrading the OS would have nothing to do with Google, but apparently it does.

Is the upgrade process deleting cached information that Big Sur uses to log into Google? Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but I have three Google accounts signed in due to calendar syncing, and it's a pain to have to sign into all three on every freaking OS update.

It is not happening for me on Catalina, however I suspect the problem here is Google rather than the Mac.
It probably detects something has changed and requires fresh credentials out of an excess of caution.

The sign-in is cookie based so any time you clear your history and delete your cookies it'll ask you to sign in.
I guess it's when an update has cleared your history.
I don't like to keep cookies myself and it is a real pain the number of times Netflix, Google etc tell me I've signed into a new browser.
